The Open Door Food Bank is established as a 501 ( C ) 3, Non Profit Organization that serves the many hungry and needy persons in the Southwest Florida area.
Combining our energies and expertise with the support of many local companies, individuals, government agencies, and our wonderful volunteers, we have been able to wage a significant battle against hunger the last few years.
Since January 2000, our mission of distributing our food “free of charge” every day to all who need it has resulted in over 350,000 persons being fed and over $47 million dollars worth of FREE food passing through our doors.
